The NGP-001 display controller retrieves video and metadata streams from the network, combining the decoded information into a single composed overview with an appropriate size for the display being used. As part of the Networked Broadcast Monitoring System, the NGP-001 can display up to 64 different video sources on two high-resolution screens.

displayed through Barco's Broadcast Monitoring Suite software, which allows to configure, store, retrieve and switch layouts
Connects to any display device currently available e.g. CRT monitors, flat screens,
rear projection modules, plasma displays etc. in 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio
Communicates and exchanges information towards network management systems
via SNMP traps through the control server
